Street Arts Festival

Headed to the Fremantle Street Arts Festival today and boy am I excited!

I'm a lover for the Arts and I visit galleries all by myself.
Simply because I couldn't find anyone who wouldn't raise their eyebrows at me, like I'm from another galaxy, when I ask "Would you like to go to the Art gallery/Museum/Insert-random-art-activities?".

I used to be in the Arts stream back in secondary school, taking up Arts, Literature and Geography.

But woe be me! Having not done anything artsy for the past few years, my innate artistical "talent" has dwindled to almost non-existence!

Now I can only reminisce the good old days by looking at my almost tattered sketch books.
Well, such is life people. Sad but true. Ouch.

First up, we headed over to Little Creatures for our first performance. Little Creatures is a brewery, and from breathing the air alone, I reckon one could be intoxicated!

Here we have Mama Lou; extraordinaire and super strong woman!

She picked out a man from the audience and appointed him the role of being her ultimate arch nemesis, making him wear an orange spandex! It was really funny.

Mama Lou challenged him to a competition of tearing up a phone directory, in which she won the feat. She really is strong!

Following Mama Lou, is a woman who could spin several hoops around her waist, and manipulating them so that they end up spinning at different parts of her body. Her finale was spinning 20 hoops!

I could hardly keep a hoop spinning for one mintue!
Haha.

We then headed back to the main shopping area of Fremantle where there are more performance spots.

Decided to sit around for the Firenix performance, whereby the guy juggled fire sticks, tried to burn himself, and swallowing fire of course!

A young boy was asked to be a volunteer and all he did was to stand at a side, holding a metal clothes hanger above his head for a long time. Poor boy!

But he's rather cute.
Oh! The pedophile in me!
Hahaha.

Waited around for the FyreDance performance but it was back slotted. And since it was so freezing cold, we ended up skipping the show.

The word "newport" reminds me of The OC, which reminds me of One Tree Hill, which in turn reminds me of the guy who's crazy over One Tree Hill!

You know who you are.

Did I ever mention that I have a really weird train of thoughts?
I have the ability to relate two totally different things together and that always leaves my friends puzzled, until I explain to them how it came about to me.

And that of course, just cranks up my weirdo-meter up one notch.

And ohh...
We saw a rainbow after a brief drizzle!

All about
: elise :

Jack (or is it Jane?) of all trades,
(almost!)

but Master of none.
(trying to!)

This is my paradise, where I indulge my senses grandiloquently.

A collective effort to keep family & friends updated, and for random strangers to pop by.

I wanted to put a HUGE picture of myself in this space, but being the technologically challenged person that I am, I can't figure out the mojo of it.

So I guess I'll just have to make do with scattering loads of random self-shots all over the blog!
